Colleagues,

Please share information with students and others in the educational community about an upcoming presentation by a scholar/researcher focusing on deaf education and culture. Dr. Catherine O’Brien of Gallaudet University  will present on Tuesday, March 24, at 6 pm on behalf of the Consortium for Social Transformation. Dr. Obrien is herself deaf and consequently, her presentation will be a multicultural and inclusive event. Dr. O’Brien will both sign and speak her presentation, supported by translators from the UTSA Office for Students with Disabilities.
