Dear Colleagues Speaking at the Inaugural Research Colloquium,

I am delighted that you will speak at our Inaugural Research Colloquium!

This is to give you additional information regarding this special event.

It will be held, as planned, in the JPL. 4th floor, Faculty Center on Tuesday,

March 6th, 2018 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. 

Your presentation will be at a table (square, not round) but we will use a

conference round table format, which will allow for your talk (on past, current,

or future research) and audience dialogue.  Sessions will run for 20 minutes and there

will be 3 rounds of talks; students (or faculty) attending can move across 3 different tables.

You may prepare a handout but this is not required.  There will be a sign-in sheet so we can

keep record of attendees, but you can also use a sheet to identify who has attended your

talk, should you wish to send them a summary of the talk or article.

We are aiming for your presentation and interactive exchange.

Please be sure to let your doctoral and masters students know of this event.  We have

sent out announcements by email but your encouragement can make a difference.

This Colloquium will give students an opportunity to learn about research developments

across all College Departments.

Thank you for taking time from your busy schedule, before Spring break, to share your

research.
