Hello everyone,

It is with mixed emotions that we announce that Jo Ann Jones, Student Development Specialist in ELPS, last day with COEHD is this Friday. 

Jo Ann began her career at UTSA in the College of Education and Human Development in May 2013 as a Communications Specialist.  Jo Ann was a jack of all trades (developing news articles/featured stories, editor, photographer, advertisement, social media, and special events coordinator).  She transitioned to her role as Student Development Specialist (SDS) in 2019 and found a true calling working with students.  From the beginning of her SDS role, Jo Ann continuously gave 100% of herself to the students and faculty she worked with.  She is one of the most organized, thoughtful, and dedicated people I know.

We wish Jo Ann continued success at UTSA in her new role as a Retention and Graduation Coordinator with the Graduate School.  I know I speak for everyone that it has been an absolute joy working with Jo Ann and wish her all the best as she begins a new chapter.
