Dear Colleague,
This is a friendly reminder that this is a critical week and weekend for technology upgrades for UTSA faculty and staff.
On Wednesday, July 19 at 2 p.m., UTS launched a new UTSA Virtual Private Network (VPN) Service that replaces the previous version. For details and access instructions,
Today, Friday, July 21, beginning at 8 a.m. and lasting until 10 p.m., UTS will be conducting maintenance on the S:\ Drive.
-
During this period, users will be unable to access the S:\ Drive network.
-
After this period, shortcuts and network paths using UNC mapping will need to be re-established/remapped. Instructions will be provided and help from Tech Café will be available during normal business hours.
Also today, Friday, July 21, beginning at 5 p.m. and lasting until Sunday, July 23 at 2 p.m., UTS will be conducting key maintenance all
Banner production systems.
-
During this period, users will be unable to access ASAP, AppWorx, Banner, DegreeWorks, and Xtender.
To offer the best possible service, we must regularly update and perform necessary maintenance on UTSA systems and networks. Some of these maintenance activities require that affected services be shut down or
sustain intermittent service interruptions. While this work is essential, we also recognize that it may present an inconvenience to our users. We thank you for your patience as we work to provide a better user experience with technology services. For updates
or to view upcoming routine maintenance dates, please visit
