The 119th San Antonio Deutsche Weihnachtsfeier will take place on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at the Margarite B. Parker Chapel on the campus of Trinity University.
The Christmas story is told entirely in the German language using scripture, German Christmas poetry, prayers, choral and congregational singing, and instrumental music. Come and sing Stille Nacht, O Tannenbaum, and other Christmas carols in German! Words and music provided!
The Beethoven Maennerchor and the San Antonio Liederkranz choirs will perform. The celebration usually lasts 90 minutes.
Arrive early to hear Dr. David Heller’s prelude on the magnificent chapel organ (begins at 5:00 p.m.).
This traditional annual celebration is open to the public, family-friendly, and free. No ticket is necessary. A voluntary collection will be taken up to cover costs.

The small parking lot (Lot E) next to the Margarite B. Parker Chapel is reserved for Handicap parking and drop-off only.
