Hello Devon and David,
I'm writing to ask if you have any students who might be interested in representing German-speaking countries of their choice in the Alamo Model UN held on campus next fall 2025.
In conjunction with the event, I'm offering an upper level CSH 3823.009 - CRN 26169 )(see flyer attached) which delves into language policies and politics in International Organizations like the UN, EU, Red Cross, and many more.
This would give students a chance to use their German-language skills both in the research portfolio they would create and the remarks they would make at the conference.
Let me know if you have any questions and I hope to have some of them participate, whether or not they can fit the class into their schedule.
Best,
Dr. Robert Watson
