The Deutsche Weihnachtsfeier in San Antonio is coming up on Dec. 11th. We still need a few student participants to read short Bible passages in German during the service. Trinity usually provides the readers, but Curtis Swope cannot find enough volunteers. Do you have any advanced students who would be willing and able to do this? It would involve a rehearsal on Thursday, Dec. 8 (4-6:00pm) in the Margarite Parker Chapel at Trinity University, and then the Weihnachtsfeier on the following Sunday at 5:30pm in the same place. An intermediate student with good pronunciation could handle the reading.
If you could let me know names, email addresses, and phone numbers, as soon as possible (by the end of next week maybe!), that would be great. Native speakers are welcome! I will let them know more information. It has been a feature of the Weihnachtsfeier to have college students do these readings. It would be a shame to have them done by adults!
