Good afternoon, Professor Donohue-Bergeler.
My name is Riley Carroll. I am a first-year graduate student at UTSA and an assistant for San Antonio-based Author Sherry Wagner.
Ms. Wagner is working on a biographical piece about Paul Baker that has required extensive research, and we have come across a newspaper clipping that covers Mr. Baker written entirely in German (please see attached). I ran the clipping through Google Translate,
but I'm well aware that Google's translations are not 100% accurate.
We emailed a faculty member in the UTSA Modern Languages department about someone who can help us transcribe the piece as accurately as possible, and they recommended contacting you. Would you or any German speakers you may know be interested in assisting?
Ms. Wagner is willing to pay whoever can help, but she's interested in a cost estimate for this task beforehand.
