Dear all,
Just a quick reminder that our second affinity group meeting this
semester is on Friday at 2pm:
2/24/2023 2:00 PM - 2/24/2023 3:00 PM
John Peace
Library 4.04.12A - Faculty Center Small Meeting Room
Here is the Zoom link for
those who want to join us remotely. A calendar invite has been
shared with you as well - please let me know if there has been any
issues and drop me an email if you
have items for our agenda.
We might want to pick up on the current discussion on inclusive
excellence broadly and we still need to decide what we want to do
this semester as a group. I also have some updates from Global
Initiatives who will speak to us during our next meeting. Finally,
will have a discussion / cultural reflection led by Sidury so it
should be a lot of fun!
Dear all,
Hope this email finds everyone well! As we get the next semester under way, it is also time to plan our affinity group meetings.
Based on low attendance last year due to teaching conflicts, we decided to move meetings to Friday, 2pm. We also offer them as hybrid - it is great if you can join us in the Faculty Center in-person but you can also meet us remotely through Zoom.
Here are the meeting dates - I will send out calendar invites, Zoom links, and meeting agendas to everyone in time:
1/27/2023 2:00 PM - 1/27/2023 3:00 PM

Among other things, we need to continue to work with Academic Affairs and hold them accountable for their new policies on supporting international faculty.
Please let me know if you have any questions or agenda items at this point and I look forward to seeing everyone next week!
Matthias
