Dear all,
Happy Monday - just a quick reminder that our third affinity group
meeting this semester is on Friday at 2pm:
*3/31/2023 2:00 PM - 3/31/2023 3:00 PM**
****/John Peace Library 4.04.12E - Faculty Center Small Meeting Room///*
Here is the Zoom link <
https://utsa.zoom.us/j/99178826365> for those who
want to join us remotely. A calendar invite has been shared with you as
well - please let me know if there has been any issues and drop me an
email if you have items for our agenda.
We will hear from Ashley Wallace from Global Initiatives on H1B and
permanent residency support. Along these lines, Sidury and I have been
drafting a survey for international faculty to get a better sense as to
how they have been supported. You can find the draft
<
https://utsa.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_d5AGRvJcRu8baHc> here and we
will discuss on Friday in more detail.
Thank you & see you on Friday,
Matthias

We might want to pick up on the current discussion on inclusive
excellence broadly and we still need to decide what we want to do this
semester as a group. I also have some updates from Global Initiatives
who will speak to us during our next meeting. Finally, will have a
discussion / cultural reflection led by Sidury so it should be a lot
of fun!
Thank you & see you on Friday,
Matthias
