Science, Inclusion, Equity, and Justice

The aim of this presentation is to describe the 'Telos' or purpose of special education in the context of students with disabilities. Within this presentation, we will present and discuss past and present issues and trends influencing special education. This will be explored in the context of systems change, with a particular emphasis on the interconnected themes of science, inclusion, equity, and justice.
