Nice piece on mental health came out today-
“In a landscape where we’re up against an onslaught of bogus mental health treatments and products that have increasingly flooded our culture, it’s all the more important to learn how to steer clear of misguided and predatory practices,
and to understand what mental health really means.”
Many times the parents seek out this sort of help out of desperation- perhaps the son/daughter have been traumatized in some way or if the family is pretty solid- the child/adolescent has a mental illness, or if taken out of the home- whatever
the case, are desperate and willing to try something different…MDB
