Subject: [Rowdy.research] Update: NSF Prior Approval Requests
Hello everyone,
I reached out to research.gov IT and they have confirmed that any user with an Admin role can submit prior approval requests directly to NSF.
Therefore,
effective immediately, no Research Administrator should be creating prior approval requests in research.gov. OSP will handle this function after they have reviewed and approved the request through ServiceNow.
Thank you,
Justin

Subject: NSF Prior Approval Requests
Hello everyone,
We’ve had a few instances lately where Prior Approval Requests in research.gov get submitted to NSF directly by someone other than an AOR. There is usually an option to “Save
& Forward to AOR” for these requests but it looks like it’s not available as an option anymore. OSP will look into this further. Until further notice, all NSF prior approval requests
should not be entered into research.gov prior to it being submitted to OSP via ServiceNow for review/approval. OSP will enter it into research.gov once we’ve reviewed and approved the request.
Thanks,
Justin
