Subject: New F&A Rates and UTSA Budget Templates

Hello everyone,

We have received the new F&A rate agreement for UTSA which can be found here. As a result of the new F&A rates and changes to the MTDC base, we have updated the internal UTSA Budget Template.

The new budget template must be used on all proposals being submitted on Monday, December 9^th or after. You can find the new budget template under the Proposal Packaging section on the OSP website. Because of the changes in the MTDC base occurring in FY26, please use the correct budget template as defined below.

For proposals with a FY25 start date – use the FY25 budget template

For proposals with a FY26 start date – use the FY26 budget template
