Subject: New Payment Label in PeopleSoft—What You Need to Know

Dear Colleagues,

UT San Antonio transitioned the printing of paper checks to an external service provider earlier this year. As a result, the "Payments" tab on vouchers in PeopleSoft now displays the paper check payment method as “EFT.” Although labeled as EFT, these payments are still printed as physical checks and mailed via U.S. Postal Service.

Suppliers do not automatically receive electronic funds transfer and do not need to take any action unless they prefer to receive payments electronically. Those wishing to enroll in ACH (direct deposit) may do so through PaymentWorks.
