NCSER is looking for someone with experience conducting research in fields relevant to the education sciences, knowledge of learners with or at risk for disabilities, and an understanding of research designs commonly used in education research. Program officers support the drafting of requests for applications (RFAs), provide technical assistance to applicants, monitor the scientific activities of grantees, and collaborate with colleagues across IES and the Department of Education to synthesize and share the knowledge generated by grant-funded research. What are the position details? The position will be permanent general schedule at either the GS-12 or GS-13 level with full benefits. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
