Free Training Opportunity Sent on Behalf of David Ngo
Dear RAD Community,
Many thanks for being a part of our 20,200+ members! Our goal is to offer parity of
opportunity with free knowledge sharing and information transfer - no memberships, no fees
and maximum inclusion!
We are happy to announce our 2024-2025 RAD Series - see attached for full listing of
sessions.
Reminder, our next RAD Session ("Lean Six Sigma for Research Administration",
presented by Nicole Quartiero and Amanda Breeden will be on February 10, 2025 at
12:00p-1:30p EDT. For those who signed up or saved the date, please see calendar
appointment details below, including Zoom Webinar URL. In case your calendar has not
automatically updated, please manually enter with the information below.
This free session will likely fill up quickly - our capacity is 1,000 - so, please log in
early to ensure you get a virtual seat. Another innovative option that we've heard
from RAD Community members is to have multiple people from one institution viewing one
shared screen (using 1 login). If you are unable to login, the good news is that all RAD
sessions are recorded and all materials are available - on demand - by following the
instructions in the calendar appt below.
Note: Please spread the word about RAD - everyone is invited!
You can RSVP for future sessions by visiting the NYU RAD
website<https://wp.nyu.edu/nyuresearchrad/> and using our online
registration<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd328QLH1yLwVM0e...;.
Our full 2024-2025 Series is found in the attached pdf - please feel free to suggest
topics and/or presenters for upcoming sessions.
The calendar appt information below also has detailed instructions on steps you can take

* RAD Purpose: RAD was created due to the current economic pressures, where it has
become increasingly difficult to identify the required resources to train research
administrators and aid their professional development/career growth. The goal of RAD is
to provide information/knowledge sharing for all research administrators. New research
administrators could utilize RAD as part of their new employee on-boarding, while veteran
research administrators could utilize RAD for their continued learning (or refresher).
* All RAD sessions are taught by national level, expert presenters. All RAD
sessions are free ($0 cost). No membership, no registration fees.
* For questions, more information, RSVP or calendar assistance - please email Sara
Sheffer-Pryce <ssp3@nyu.edu<mailto:ssp3@nyu.edu>>

Administration
(
