To ensure compliance with the Administration’s Executive Orders (EOs) and NASA guidance, proposers have an opportunity to revise and resubmit proposals in areas that conflict or are non-compliant. Therefore, before the proposals can be reconsidered, all PIs must revise and resubmit their proposals to address any content that conflicts with the Administration’s EOs. The revised submission must address the items outlined in the executive orders above which highlight the removal of all references to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), underrepresented participants, Environmental Justice (EJ) and gender preference. Please revise only the areas where the conflict exists. If revisions to non-compliant activities necessitate a change in the associated budget, the proposer may propose replacement activities to bring the proposal into compliance. The Earth Science to Action strategy online has been modified in response to the EOs. It is the research, application and action resource you should refer to for science language to use.
