Good morning everyone,
Happy Wednesday! I have two questions regarding F&A that I am seeking advice on
regarding F&A deficits:
* What can cause an F&A account to go into deficit?
* When this occurs, does the F&A account need to have funds transferred to it to
cure the deficit?
Greatly appreciate any insight!

Subject: General Questions re F&A
Importance: Low
Hi OSP,
General questions re F&A:
* When is F&A taken out of project budgets? Monthly? Weekly? F&A is charged
overnight and GCFS reconciles during award closeout (they can confirm this)
* What can cause an F&A account to go into deficit? Please direct these questions
to the RowdyResearch listserv
* When this occurs, does the F&A account need to have funds transferred to it
to cure the deficit? Is this something GCFS would do at award closeout?
Greatly appreciate any insight!
