PS Approvals

Hello everyone,
As mentioned previously, some Research Administrators will remain in the GR_CENTRAL_OFC role in PeopleSoft to approve budget transfers and requisitions. Because of this, those same RAs will receive vouchers, expense reports, and travel authorizations meant for OSP to approve.
With that in mind, for those RAs that are in the GR_CENTRAL_OFC role, please make sure you are not approving any vouchers, expense reports, or travel authorizations on behalf of OSP.
To the OSP staff, please make sure you are approving your workflow daily to help reduce confusion for the Research Administrators on which items they need to approve.

As the end of the 2024-2025 TRC4 cycle approaches below are a couple reminders of important dates:
1. End of Award: 07/31/2025
* The official end date for all TRC4 awards is 07/31/2025 and NCEs are not allowed. Expenses can only be invoiced through 07/31/2025. Although work can continue after the end of the award, those expenses are not allowed to be charged to the current awards.
1. Final day to submit invoices: 08/15/2025
* All invoices must be submitted to osp-trc4(a)uthscsa.edu<mailto:osp-trc4@uthscsa.edu> within 15 days of award termination and should be marked "final". Invoices received later than 15 days following termination will be honored for payment at the discretion of UTHSCSA.
1. Final progress reports due: 08/31/2025

NSF Career proposal submissions July 23

Good afternoon.
Good news! So far, 29 proposal applications are in production for the submission deadline of July 23.
A standard checklist for NSF Career award applications should be shared between the RA teams for the proposal packaging preparation. SRAs, please coordinate.
The complete proposal package is due to the RA team for review by July 17th. OSP will accept complete proposals for review if they are routed and received no later than July 21 for submission to NSF by July 23. Of course, the earlier the better for everyone involved.
