Hello everyone,
I reached out to research.gov IT and they have confirmed that any user with an Admin role can submit prior approval requests directly to NSF.
Therefore, effective immediately, no Research Administrator should be creating prior approval requests in research.gov. OSP will handle this function after they have reviewed and approved the request through ServiceNow.
Thank you,
Justin

Hello everyone,
We've had a few instances lately where Prior Approval Requests in research.gov get submitted to NSF directly by someone other than an AOR. There is usually an option to "Save & Forward to AOR" for these requests but it looks like it's not available as an option anymore. OSP will look into this further. Until further notice, all NSF prior approval requests should not be entered into research.gov prior to it being submitted to OSP via ServiceNow for review/approval. OSP will enter it into research.gov once we've reviewed and approved the request.
Thanks,
Justin

Upcoming Grantee Training Webinar
Essential Resources for CPRIT Grantees
This webinar will help current grantees successfully navigate compliance and reporting requirements. The training will include an overview of essential grantee resources, relevant administrative rule changes, programmatic updates, and a Q&A with staff.
CPRIT's administrative rule (§ 703.22)<https://texas.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=9bc46acc55c4a42d93566d3a5...> requires all CPRIT grantees to complete an annual compliance training by December 31 of each year. The Authorized Signing Official (ASO) and at least one other individual from each organization must attend the annual compliance training; however, we encourage all staff who use CPRIT’s grants management system to participate in this training, including Principal Investigators. Attendance at this webinar will satisfy the training requirement for 2025.
CPRIT staff participating in the webinar will include representatives from the compliance department, program staff, operations staff, and the legal department.
To register for the webinars, click on the links below or visit the Ethics and Compliance<https://texas.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=9bc46acc55c4a42d93566d3a5...> page on the CPRIT website.
PLEASE NOTE: Grantee compliance trainings are program specific. Organizations with grants across multiple programs should attend the training that pertains to the majority of their awards.
