Re: OSP ServiceNow is Live!
by Justin Marmolejo
Hello,
I'll connect with Ana, I'm coming back after 4 days out with COVID so I need to catch up with the team. However under "My Cases", I am able to open tickets I've submitted and type in a new message and upload attachments. Is this something you all see on your end too?

Importance: High
Good morning everyone,
@Jennifer<mailto:Jennifer.Silver@utsa.edu> - Thank you for the information. I have included the link as well. Updates on NSF Priorities | NSF - National Science Foundation<https://www.nsf.gov/updates-on-priorities#progress-summary>.
For the 30-day summary report, there may be expenses directly on the project but with the out of cycle draw requests, there may be only a few remaining to submit for reimbursement; however, this would not include the expenses that are currently being identified by the PI, RA and Financial teams that have not yet posted to the project.
For everyone's review, I pulled together a quick template to share with the PIs and their teams to account for those expenses that they anticipate will be expensed to the project (If they don't have one already?). These expenses were discussed briefly in the termination meetings, but this template would help consolidate the detail of those expenses for submission.
In the interest of time, I did not add signature lines, but signatures are a necessary component for this template. This is a commitment to the final expenses for these terminated awards and, per NSF, once the final payment is processed, no adjustments will be permitted.

I also wanted to ask- if a cost center and a project ID are on a voucher that both go to an approver- will they receive the voucher twice to approve? Or will the system only send the voucher to the approver once?
How did we do?

Re: Adding Additional Dept Level Admins to Approval Chains
by Justin Marmolejo
Hello,
The only option would be to add someone as a Project_Manager, but that should be approved by the PI as the ultimate fiscal responsibility of the award falls to them.
Thanks,
Justin

Hi - I'm just now going through emails. This wasn't my question originally and Chris may have already resolved, but for financial people that they want to add to approval chains, can those people be put into one of those roles that you list, Justin? I'm just curious about who can be added.
Thanks

Hello,
The only approver roles built into the approval chain are the PI, Project_Manager, and GR_CENTRAL_OFC. The approval routes in that order as well.
Thanks,
Justin

Importance: High
Good morning and happy Friday, everyone,
If the VPSS team wants to add in Kelley Marcantel (executive financial director) and Zinthia Garza (BSC manager) to the approval chains on financial transactions and eForms - does anyone know what role in the project teams tab can I provide them?
Thank you!

Good morning,
Would you happen to know how I can add Zinthia and Kelley as approvers to vouchers for all PIDs under VPSS?
Or know who I could ask in OSP/Grants?

Good afternoon, to add Kelley and Zinthia as Approvers for the Project IDs attached you would need to contact Grants Contracts and Financial Services to see if they can be added.
