Kathlynn Wray's Last Day

Greetings UTSA Advising Community, After close to seven years of service to the UTSA community, Kathlynn has submitted her letter of resignation. As you may have heard Kathlynn has accepted a position as a Program Coordinator with the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During her time here at UTSA, Kathlynn's contribution to the advising community has been immeasurable, both in terms of her programmatic contributions, but even more so in regard to her skills and integrity in working with our students. Even though her time with Social Sciences Advising was short, she will surely be missed. Please join me in wishing her all the best as she moves into the next facet of her professional career. On the same line of thinking, would it be possible to arrange a blanket petition for students who have 30 or fewer (single major) and 45 or fewer (double major) hours to graduate? After reviewing the chart, it seems as though this may be appropriate if the petition will always be approved, regardless of circumstances such as adding a major or minor in last 1-2 semesters, multiple W's, F's and other student choices. Having a blanket petition would streamline things for students and advisors.
