Hello all, If you have a petition that has been approved for a blanket waiver, you do not need to send it to the Degree Works email and Suzanne Stokes. You should send it to Suzanne so she can update the transfer tables in Banner. Once that is done, it automatically updates SHATRNS as well, which then updates Degree Works. If you have a question about this, feel free to email me or message me in Teams. Regards, Amanda Garcia Senior Registrar Officer Registrar's Office | The University of Texas at San Antonio One UTSA Circle, San Antonio, TX 78249 Amanda.Garcia(a)utsa.edu<mailto:Amanda.Garcia@utsa.edu> Students: Please be sure to include your Banner ID or MyUTSA ID when corresponding with UTSA officials. CONFIDENTIAL COMMUNICATION: This email and any file transmitted with it may contain confidential information intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed. He was born and raised in El Paso, TX and has a "high passion" for baseball. He is also a part of the Marine Corps Reserve where he has served for four years. A fun fact about Alejandro, his first job was as a balloon artist so he might know how to make some balloon animals. Alejandro recently mentioned that he already enjoys working with everyone at UTSA and "it really has made a lasting impression already". He looks forward to getting to know everyone that is a part of UTSA Advising. You can post a welcome message to Alejandro using this link: https://utsaadvising.kudoboard.com/boards/RESAiNmU [A person smiling for the camera Description automatically generated with medium confidence]Meet Carlos Sanchez (Call Center Operations) Carlos has worked in higher education for several years and joins us from Texas A&M San Antonio. Music Ensemble Reminders

by advising＠lists.it.utsa.edu

Hello, Advising Community, As we close out our Orientation experience, I wanted to send a couple friendly reminders: UTSA has an open, non-auditioned co-ed choir this year! The Department received numerous requests over the years to have a choir for everyone, and they now need help filling it. If you have interested students, please direct them to MUS 4581.006 (flyer attached). No override needed! Marching Band (MUS 3801/3802/3803) is back in person this year with band camp starting next Friday, August 13th. If you have students who are living on campus, they are allowed to move in early (a perk!), but they need to let Housing know as soon as possible. As always, please let me know if you have any questions about Music majors, minors, or courses. Best, Julie ---------------------------------- Julie E. Fisher, M.Ed.
