Hello, I hope you’re doing well and that your Summer is off to a great start! Below you will find our Summer drop-in schedule along with some resources that may help current and incoming students during this orientation season. 🕒 Summer 2026 Drop-In Schedule (May 19 – August 6) * Monday – Thursday: 10 AM – 3 PM * We offer in-person (SU 2.02.04) and virtual (via Zoom) 15-minute drop-ins—no appointment needed! * For more information, students can search for “Summer Career Center In-Person & Virtual Drop-Ins” in the Handshake Events page: https://utsa.joinhandshake.com/edu/events 🏖️You can encourage current students to: * Join virtually by registering through Handshake or Walk in for in-person support during drop-in hours * Drop-ins are a great option for quick help with: Resumes & Cover Letters, Job & Internship Search Strategies, Interview Preparation, Exploring Careers and more! * They are also able to schedule 1:1 appointments with consultants through the "Career Center" tab in Handshake 🌞For incoming students: * While new students are usually not yet eligible to register for drop-ins or appointments in Handshake, they can begin exploring majors and career pathways here: https://careercenter.utsa.edu/resources/find-your-fit.html * I recommend students utilize the following: * The Career Explorer Assessment<https://www.careerexplorer.com/orgs/utsa/> using their UT San Antonio email to create an account * What Can I Do With This Major<https://whatcanidowiththismajor.com/> resource to explore possible career options by major * The Should I Change My Major Checklist<https://careercenter.utsa.edu/resources/_documents/2024-change_of_major-c...> is a great resource that will guide students to make the most informed decision when considering changing their major.
