Today is her official start date for this position; however, Tamala will support Academic Advising as needed, while transitioning to this new position.

Meet Tamala Boyd
Tamala holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Peru State College and a Master of Science from Nova Southeastern University. She has worked for The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) for 14 years. Her experience at UTSA range from administrative assistant, accounting technician, and currently as Academic Advisor. Tamala has been a part of the UTSA Academic Advising team for over 10 years, and most recently as an Academic Advisor working with our Downtown Campus students in the College of Architecture, Construction and Planning and Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice. She is excited to begin her new role coordinating Training and Development for our academic advising community.
