The next catalog (2026-2028) will be updated to show that students will be awarded credit for our Human Geography course (GES 2623), but students that have not already accepted credit for GES 1XX3 should be able to accept credit for GES 2623 starting now. If a student has already accepted credit for GES 1XX3, an advisor can email the Degree Works inbox asking that it be tagged with the Core 080 attribute so that it applies toward a student's core requirements. Degree Works | Repeat Indicator and Updates to Exceptions

Good morning, We wanted to inform you about a couple of updates to Degree Works. Repeat Indicator The repeat icon has been updated from "(R)" to "(Repeat)" in the hopes that it will be clear that the course has been repeated. Here is the old icon (highlighted in yellow): [cid:image004.jpg@01DAF86C.2AB9FF80] New icon: [cid:image006.jpg@01DAF86C.2AB9FF80] Exceptions Listed in Headers We've updated a setting so if an exception is made for an overall requirement for a block, it now shows at the top of that block. For example, if we made an exception changing the hours required for a block, the exception didn't show up in the block itself but at the bottom of the audit.
