Archer Coffee Chat Email
by Alegra Lozano
Good afternoon. Sharing the following opportunity on behalf of Kristi Meyer. Please share this with your students. The Archer Program is open to all eligible UTSA students.
UTSA is working to encourage students from all majors to apply for the Archer Fellowship<https://www.archercenter.org/archer-fellowship-program.html> & we could use your help. UTSA generously funds housing and tuition for students accepted to spend a semester studying and interning in Washington, DC to make this opportunity accessible to students.
I would like to extend an invitation to join us for coffee with Archer staff and alumni if you would like to learn more about the program. The faculty/staff coffee will be on Tues, 10/2, 8:30 - 10:00 am in the SU Willow Room (SU 2.02.12, next to the Retama auditorium) so that you can drop in as your schedule permits.
The Archer Fellowship Program<https://www.archercenter.org/archer-fellowship-program.html> provides undergraduate students from across The University of Texas System with a unique opportunity to live, work and intern in our nation's capital.
Why Archer?
* All majors are welcome!
* Earn in-residence UT San Antonio credit for coursework and gain hand-on work experience in a full-time internship of your choosing.
* Archer Fellows live together near Capitol Hill and build lasting friendships and professional connections with each other.
* Open to all students. You do not need to be an Honors student to apply. Honors College students earn 3 Honors Experiences when completing the Fellowship, and event credit for attending an information session.
* Thanks to generous campus support, tuition and housing fees are fully covered for UTSA Archer Fellows!
Thank you in advance for helping get this word out!
Kristi
