[Advising] Information from Biology

Good afternoon everyone! I wanted to pass along some information I received today from Dr. Forsthuber, instructor of Introduction to Clinical Medicine and Advanced Clinical Medicine (BIO 3013 and 4473). Dr. Forstshuber is the only instructor for these two courses and is extremely adamant about the pre-requisites being met. He has had some issues in the past (mostly with me :)) about advising placing overrides for "deserving" students into his Advanced course and it has been disastrous. Dr. Forsthuber, quite nicely, has asked us to NOT place any overrides for either of these two courses and to send any interested students to him directly. He has also said, however, that the likelihood of him allowing students without the exact pre-requisites into either course is extremely slim due to the intense nature of the coursework.
