Mykala Howell joins our team as a new Academic Advisor I assisting students in Math and Physical Sciences. Mykala begins today, Monday, June 20th. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at California State University, Chico. While there, I enjoyed supporting students in various departments of Student Affairs including Residential Life & Housing, Summer Orientation & New Student Programs, and Admissions & Outreach. Recently, as of May 2022, I completed my Masters of Science in Counseling Education, specializing in School Counseling, at California State University, Sacramento. After spending so much time in the *virtual* classroom, I'm eager to return to the field. And with being new to San Antonio, I'm excited to explore the best coffee shops in town.
