Dear All,
Please share this opportunity with your outstanding Juniors, who are thinking about
graduate school. Student can come from any discipline, but needs to express interest in
doing research in education.
Thank you - Sylvia

Subject: Recruiting students for the UTSA Pathways IES Educational Research Training
Program
Importance: High
Hello Ms. Sylvia,
I hope you are doing well and staying healthy! We are recruiting for our next cohort of
Fellows for the UTSA IES Pathways Program. I was wondering if you could send the attached
pdf flyer to all the students served by your Advising Centers. The program requirements
and specific details are listed in the flyer, and all majors are accepted.
UTSA IES Pathways will fund 16 undergraduate students (Fellows) and prepare them for
admission and success in graduate education programs and doctoral study. The UTSA
Educational Research Training Program: P-20 Pipeline Issues will provide fellows,
especially students from underrepresented backgrounds, with an introduction to education
science research and scientific methods, meaningful opportunities to participate in
education research studies, networking and professional development and mentoring that
leads to doctoral study. Student must be Junior and have a 3.0 and above GPA.
Let me know if I need to provide additional information. As always Thank you in advance
for assisting me!
Sincerely,
Francesca Bronder, M.A.
