[Advising] FW: Attached Image

Greetings, I am seeing a common problem across the advising centers in changing student majors. Joshua English @01447756 was changed to Business in August. Unfortunately, the major was processed backwards so it appeared that he was a Declared major vs. a PRB major. Please see attachments. One is backwards (Wrong) and one is corrected (Correct). This is for a PRB student who is not in UC. I have corrected the record to BBA-MGT (program code) and PRB Major (field of study) code. If the student meets the GPA and course requirements at the end of the fall 2014 term he would have his major declared. After grades post and academic standing rolls the record would change to: BBA-MGT - (Program code) Management - (Major - Field of study code) If the field of study/major code is backwards it will allow students to enroll into courses they do not qualify to be enrolled in.
