Subject: UTSA Core Curriculum Changes
This email contains important information for UTSA undergraduate students
who have not yet completed the core curriculum. If you have completed
your core curriculum, you may disregard this message.
The Texas common core curriculum will change for all Texas public
institutions of higher education beginning in the Fall 2014 semester.
Students who have not completed UTSA core curriculum requirements, have
the option to continue completing the current core or move to the new
core, which will require a change of catalog.
If you have questions concerning your core curriculum requirements you
should speak with your academic advisor. When speaking with your
advisor, please make special note of immediate changes to the Science
core requirement, which include a university decision that a student can
satisfy their core science requirement with any two approved core science
courses.
