Hello! My name is Gamali Caballero, and I am excited to be part of the UTSA Advising team!
I'm originally from Laredo, Texas, and graduated from Texas A&M International
University in 2020 with a BA in Political Science and am currently enrolled for my
master's program in Public Administration at Texas A&M International University.
Since graduation, I have worked in higher education as an advisor for close to four years.
Besides my advisor role, I am also the Director of Philanthropy & Service for the
national executive board of Delta Xi Nu Multicultural Sorority Inc. I love to travel and
try new things whether it's cuisine or adventures!

Hello! My name is Eddie Hernandez, and I am excited to be part of the UTSA Advising
family! I'm originally from New Braunfels, Texas, and graduated from the University of
Texas at San Antonio in 2013 with a BBA in Real Estate Finance and Development, and
completed my Master of Business Administration from Howard Payne University in 2019. Most
recently I have earned a graduate certificate in Higher Education Administration. I have
spent the last five and half years working in higher education in a variety of roles, such
as, One Stop Counselor at UTSA from 2019-2020, and as an Academic Advisor at Texas State
University from 2020-2024. In my free time, I love to binge-watch Disney+ movies/shows,
paint, and avid gamer on PS5.
