Andrew's most recent position was with UTSA Downtown Testing Services. Before that he
held student and faculty support roles at the University of Houston and Angelo State
University. In addition to his full time job with IT at Angelo State Andrew taught part
time in the Art Department for about four years. For a time he was Art Program Director
for the Boys and Girls Club of the Texas Hill Country.
When he is not at work Andrew is a photographer with an interest in Texas landscapes and
plants. He is active in the Native Plant Society of Texas- San Antonio and is the chair of
their publicity committee. His urban yard is planted for the benefit of birds, bees,
butterflies and other wildlife with a variety of native plants. He also maintains a
collection of cacti and succulents and is a member of San Antonio Cactus and Xerophyte
Society.
