Good morning, advising community! I have had a couple of advisors contact me regarding the max hour restriction that former LEAD students have for this upcoming summer. It is very important to note that former LEAD students, prior to summer 2022, no longer have to abide by the 6 max hour summer enrollment restriction, nor any restriction for the fall and spring. They do, however, have to meet hour restrictions set by the university as any other student must do so. The reason this occurs is because BANNER cannot differentiate when the LEAD attribute should start and end. I have attempted to have this corrected, but have been told that there is no easy fix. As the student's advisor, please feel free to update the student's max hours whenever necessary. If anyone still has questions, please feel free to reach out. Have a great week! Cynthia J.
