Good afternoon all! With the recent changes to the core in DW, some advising centers have seen an influx of students with concerns about their degree worksheet showing an incomplete core. This has caused some issues and Barbara has contacted the DW technical team to see if the issues can be resolved and tested more thoroughly. In the meantime, IDED Advising has drafted the following e-mail to send to their students informing them about the changes along with offering guidance and support to those students who have concerns about their degree progress. Hi Everyone! Due to some recent updates in the system, you may notice some changes in your core classes, on your DegreeWorks plan. There is no need to panic, but if anything needs to be updated please email me for a manual update. Hope everyone is staying warm! IDED Advising has also agreed to share their verbiage with us and would welcome other centers to use this as a proactive way to reach out to students to help alleviate potential confusion. Barbara will be in touch, via the list-serv, with any additional information as the DW technical team researches the issue.
