Subject: Call for Applications | 2018-2019 WPASA | UTSA's Women's Professional
Advancement and Synergy Academy
Dear UTSA Colleagues:
We are pleased to announce that the Women's Professional Advancement and Synergy
Academy (WPASA) is accepting applications for its 2018-2019 cohort.
WPASA was founded at The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2011. WPASA has since
offered professional development and leadership training to three cohorts of faculty and
staff in 2012, 2014, and 2016. WPASA alumni total seventy-one.
WPASA has strengthened the culture of UTSA’s institution, with the creation of
professional networks of women, who hold positions across our University, and whose
connection fosters career satisfaction, efficiencies, and dedication within our
institution.
The WPASA model has been recognized beyond the UTSA campus. In October 2015, WPASA was a
featured as a best practice model at the UT System Advancing Women, Making Change: Best
Practices
Symposium<http://www.utsystem.edu/sites/sr-women-leadership-network/ad...;.
