Subject: Journal of Academic Advising, May 2018 Inaugural Issue - Call for Papers
Call for Papers, Sep 1st-Dec 15th
Hello from Indiana University Bloomington! We are excited to announce the first call for
papers for our inaugural issue of the Journal of Academic Advising. Over the past few
decades, the profession of academic advising has grown to encompass multi-disciplined
approaches to understanding our students' lived experiences and innovative methods of
practically applying theory to our advising sessions.
As part of sharing advising practices and approaches to advising, we invite you to submit
your papers to our journal from September 1st - December 15th.
Submission Guidelines
We invite you to submit completed manuscripts to our Journal via our website where you can
find the submission guidelines and online submission system (papers will not be accepted
by email). All papers will be peer-reviewed, and we will publish our inaugural issue in
May, 2018.
The Journal of Academic Advising is open-access and you may submit, subscribe, and read
our journal at no cost. Our team believes in providing immediate open access to its
content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a
greater global exchange of knowledge. Please see
http://go.iu.edu/1GHQ for more submission
details or email jaadiv@indiana.edu<mailto:jaadiv@indiana.edu> with questions.
Thank you and have a wonderful semester,
