Hello,
Please see below email from Dr. Sara Oswalt, KHN department chair, regarding approved
blanket course subs for a course required for the Wellness minor. I have confirmed with
Dr. Oswalt that this applies to all students pursuing the Wellness minor; this is not
limited to Kinesiology students.
Hi Albert
I hope your week is going well. We have a few KIN students (not sure how many) who are
pursuing the Wellness minor and need HTH 3023 Survey of Human Sexuality to graduate in
spring or summer 2018. This course is not being offered in the spring. Acceptable
substitutions could be:
* BIO 2003: Biology of Human Reproduction
* Taking a second course from the option list in the minor (HTH 2513 Personal
Health; HTH 3043 Principles of Weight Management; HTH 3543 Growth and Development or HTH
4513 Consumer Health)
* If they have taken HTH 3503, then I will grant a prerequisite override for HTH
3663 if they want to enroll in HTH 4523 Understanding Human Sexuality (but Theories is
required).
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for sharing with your colleagues.
