As you know applications will close next week on February 1st. As of right now we have more mentee applicants than we do mentor applicants. As this is the first year of the mentoring program the steering committee would prefer not to turn away applicants, however I need to know if you as a mentor applicant would be okay with possibly having two mentees assigned to you? Please let me know by the end of next week if you would be willing to serve as a mentor for 1 or 2 mentees. If you have questions or concerns about mentoring two mentees, please don't hesitate to reach out. I myself am part of the Graduate & Professional Students AC mentoring program and am assigned to a mentor with two mentees and can give my feedback on what that experience is like and structured.
