In reviewing the latest Generic Advisor report that gets generated every week, I notice
that there are still several instances where the assigned generic advisor doesn't
match the Advisor Type. For example, a student might be assigned to Student Placement
Advising but be assigned to the EGR or SOSC Advisor Type, or even no Advisor Type at all.
There are a handful of instances of this in most advising centers. So a reminder: when
assigning a student to a generic advisor in SGAADVR, please make sure to assign an Advisor
Type that matches the generic advisor. Thanks!
