Hello all, On Monday there will be a change to Degree Works. Right now, it is set up so that In Progress (IP) courses have priority over courses that are completed. We will change it so that completed courses will take priority. What does this mean? Let's bring in the visual aids! Here is a student's Free Electives block when IP has priority: [cid:image005.jpg@01D28908.55BB7D20] Same student and same block, but completed courses have priority: [cid:image006.jpg@01D28908.55BB7D20] Right now DW will try and plug an IP course in a spot even though the student may already have something to satisfy that requirement. We have compared what both priorities look like for many students to try and find the good/bad/ugly between both settings. We have discussed this with advisors, directors and the AAC. So far, all the feedback we have received is positive towards making the change so that completed courses have priority.
