Hello All, Happy Tuesday I hope everyone's day is going well. We have some great things happening over here at UTSA Online programs. This includes changes and addition to staff! To keep everyone abreast of what's taking place I want to share the items below. Lauren Smith has been working with UTSA Online for nearly 4 years and has been an inaugural part of growing our team and enrollment/retention. Since our enrollment has grown we have seen the need to make changes to ensure our continued growth and a more intentional focus on our online advising staff and strategy. As part of this, Lauren's title has been updated to Manager, Online Advising and we are excited to see her focus on Advising and the great things that will take place in this area. Kelly Peña Lint has also been working with UTSA Online programs for nearly 4 years too and I would like to welcome and congratulate her on her new role as the Interim Manager, Online Enrollment. Kelly has been a great part of developing our Enrollment counselors by coaching and training them as the Quality Assurance Coordinator and because of her exceptional ability to see the process and understanding of enrollment, we have decided to offer her this opportunity in this interim role and we look forward to seeing the developments that she has planned for the Enrollment team. Please note that anything related to advising may now go to Lauren Smith and anything Enrollment related may now be directed to Kelly Peña Lint. More exciting news is that we have two new members in two newly created roles. Please welcome Desiree Perez and Pierre Richard. They both started in March as our Enrollment Support Specialists and have been doing a great job at assisting our Enrollment Counselors in converting inquiries to applicants. Lastly, we have Amy Gomez who begins in May as an Academic Advisor III, she brings with her many experiences in advising and we are looking forward to the knowledge she will be sharing and adding to our Advising team. Please share in congratulating those who have recently joined our team and those that have new roles!
