Good morning Everyone, Sending out a quick email to let you know about the all-advising community meeting for this Thursday. Dr. Levitt, Associate Dean of COLFA, will be giving an interactive presentation on communication principals that can be applied when working with our colleagues, our supervisors, and most importantly with our students. These principals transcend and can also be applied in our personal lives. Many of us are aware of them, but always good to refresh and in the process, maybe pick up a nugget or two of "aha" moments. His presentation will need to start promptly at 8:30. All of us have typically been ready to go by 8:30 when we have had our all-advising community trainings, but this time, if everyone could be ready by 8:20'ish that would be awesome. (We'll have a few minutes for one or two "things" before Dr. Levitt's presentation.) The location for this Thursday is the Denman. I think most of us know where it is, but just in case, it is the big room, above the UC food court. If you have any questions, please ask Dainon, Sylvia, Barbara, Brandy, or myself.
