Good afternoon UTSA Advising!
Our wonderful colleague, James (Jimmy) Adair, has arranged for a guest speaker, Swami
Shivatmananda, to speak on campus on April 20, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., in MH 2.01.40. He
is a recognized expert and practitioner of Hinduism/Hindu Philosophy, and he is associated
with the Chinmaya Mission here in San Antonio. Info on him is on the Austin Chinmaya
Mission website:
http://www.chinmayaaustin.org/ss.html.
Please share this exciting opportunity with any interested students! All are welcome!
Students will have the wonderful opportunity to hear Swami Shivatmananda's lecture on
the '10 Fundamental Principles of Hinduism', and will hear more about our
Religious Studies minor and our new Religious Studies concentration in the Classical
Studies and Humanities major. Thank you!
