Job Summary
Assists, facilitates and executes day-to-day operations and carries out programming
including recruitment, selection, mentoring and logistical support for students in Honors
College Special Programs including Terry Scholars, Top Scholars, Citymester, Archer
Fellowship, Legislative Scholars, and others. Responsible for understanding and
interpreting the needs of students.
Core Responsibilities
1. Plans, schedules, and coordinates aspects of student programs and related events for
Honors College Special Programs including Terry Scholars, Top Scholars, Citymester, Archer
Fellowship, Legislative Scholars, and others.
2. Support students as they articulate their interests and ambitions that further their
academic, personal and professional goals
3. Facilitates selection processes for Honors College Special Programs.
4. Maintains program procedural statements and organizational documents.
5. Reports student success results.
6. Works with student program participants to ensure financial aid, scholarships and
registration for various program is timely and accurate.
7. Maintains student records and documentation.
8. Develops and manages the production of relevant program materials ensuring quality
and timelines are maintained.
9. Stays current with program and student development literature for best practices.
10. Consults with Honors College leadership to establish priorities, standards and
program evaluation processes.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Certifications
* Education Required: Bachelor's Degree
* Education Preferred: Master's Degree
Experience
* Experience Required: Experience working with college students.
* Experience Preferred: 1-3 years of professional experience working in college
student success.
