We ran the prereq drop script in audit mode yesterday, and emails were sent to students in danger of having their classes dropped for failure to meet prereqs. We are aware of a few students who contacted their advisors or others, and in one or two cases that I'm aware of we verified that students shouldn't be on the list, so we set overrides to hold them in their classes when the script is run in update mode. If you are contacted by students who say that they don't believe they should be dropped from a class, please send a note to the DegreeWorks mailbox with the details. We plan to run the drop script tomorrow (Wednesday) after the close of business in update mode, dropping students who don't meet prereqs. Please let me know if you have any questions. Jimmy James R.
