We are excited to celebrate Black History Month 2021, during the month of February. In conjunction with other national celebrations, and off the heels of an historic and memorable inauguration, we recognize the contributions made and the important presence of Black Americans to the United States, Texas and UTSA. Please join us as we celebrate to the contributions of Black Americans to the United States and the culture by hosting, sponsoring, coordinating and/or facilitating informative, fun and educational activities and events for the month. This year, our celebration begins early, with a kick-off celebration and keynote speaker Dr. Fred. Bonner. Dr. Bonner's lecture "Building on Resilience: Foregrounding Dr. Martin Luther King Junior's Dream" will take place on Wednesday, January 27 at 1 pm, closing out our Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration and starting Black History Month<https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%...;.
