Good morning,
As you may or may not be aware the university did an outstanding job with our QLP.
Beginning with the Fall semester, there will be more quantitative literacy (Q) courses in
the core as well as upper division courses across the university. As a result there will
no longer be Q workshops, QLW.
Attached is a list of courses that have the "Q" course designation. For some
majors, the discipline or specific courses for that major will ensure the student meets
the "Q" requirement if they didn't complete a Q-course as part of their Core
Curriculum.
If a student has applied for graduation and they have not fulfilled the "Q"
requirement, then you need to enroll them in QLE 4000 and an exemption will be given. If
you are unable to enroll, e.g.: after late registration, send the list of student names
and IDs to Kim Massaro (Kimberly.massaro@utsa.edu<mailto:Kimberly.massaro@utsa.edu>)
and she will work with the Registrar's office to get them enrolled.
